Job Description:
A Test Analyst position is available in a large Queensland government department.
The successful candidate will design and develop test cases, execute test cases, record test results, and report defects.
Main Responsibilities:
* In collaboration with the Test Lead, formulate and implement test plans, coordinate deliverables and activities associated with integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation testing.
* Assist with defect triage and defect management activities.
* Provide test progress-against-plan updates and assist with test summary reporting and acceptance sign-off where required.
* Support and observe test environment configuration and release management controls.
* Coordinate test activities and prepare test collateral with clinical and non-clinical staff, and in close collaboration with the project team including SMEs, integration partners, and suppliers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and build strong relationships to ensure targeted and rigorous testing that contributes to successful testing outcomes and project success.
Requirements:
* Experienced Test Analyst with a good understanding and expertise of Queensland Health systems and processes.
* Hands-on experience of system testing, system integration testing, UAT, and PVT is favourable.
* Experience of System Integration Testing, specifically functional end-to-end verification of HL7 messaging (black-box testing with HBCIS and ieMR) will be highly regarded.
* Experience or exposure to Sleep and Respiratory systems and processes, as well as HBCIS, Patient Flow Manager (Kyra Flow) and ieMR is highly regarded.
* ISTQB certification is required.
* Experience with Jira and Zephyr is preferable.
* Attention to detail is a must, and an ability to build strong relationships, and communicate with both technical and non-technical communities would be advantageous.
* A self-starter who can provide testing in the context of healthcare solutions, and that can lean-in to support a myriad of testing activities will be favourably considered, as will a 'delivery focus' and a 'can-do' attitude.
