Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, to join our small production team at our Yarrawonga factory soon to move to Strathmerton, with the main focus of assisting with blending, mixing and packing of our products. This position would suit a younger local candidate wanting to build industry or manufacturing experience.
This is a full time position for day shift Mon – Fri (some weekend work may be required on rare occasions). You will report directly to the Production Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our award winning company.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist with batching and mixing of raw materials
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
* Operate forklift and telehandlers
* Assist with routine maintenance on production line and equipment
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
* Receiving and dispatching stock/finished products
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Be healthy and physically fit.
* Current forklift license or willingness to obtain
* Work well within a small team
* Basic computer skills
* Good literacy and communication skills
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Previous manufacturing experience an advantage, however training will be provided
