About the role


Brilliant Admin Solutions' is seeking a skilled BAS Agent and Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Jerrabomberra, NSW. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of clients from SME to larger business. This full-time role is essential in ensuring our clients' financial compliance and support.This position is onsite at our Jerrabomberra office.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

What you'll be doing

* Current registration as a BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board is required.

* Proactivly managing the introduction of AI and best practice bookkeeping for our clients to ensure they are at the cuttinge edge

* Creating App stacks and implementing new and exciting addons for small business

* Processing payroll for clients, including calculating wages, deductions, superannuation, and other payroll-related tasks

* Liaising with clients, ATO and other relevant stakeholders as needed

* Staying informed of changes in tax and payroll legislation to ensure continued compliance

* Contributing to the overall success of the Brilliant Admin Solutions' team and our clients.

What we're looking for

* Minimum 3 years' experience as a BAS Agent

* Thorough knowledge of Australian tax and payroll legislation, including BAS, PAYG, and superannuation requirements

* Small business background is an advantage

* Someone who enjoys implementing new systems and learning new systems.

* Proactivly managing the introduction of AI and best practice bookkeeping for our clients to ensure they are at the cuttinge edge

* Creating App stacks and implementing new and exciting add ons for small business

* Proficiency in using payroll and accounting software, such as MYOB and Xero

* Excellent communication and customer service skills
