Our Outdoor Educators are adventurous go-getters helping children learn and grow in a safe, fun, and natural environment. (Literally.) At the Y, we’re after passionate go-getters with a love of all things outdoors to send our young campers home with lasting memories, a strengthened sense of self and community - and a greater connection to the natural world.
Reporting to the Programs Coordinator, you’ll lead adventurous activities and outdoor learning sessions, delivering memorable and meaningful experiences that young people love. You’ll also act as a leader, mentor, and role model for our young community, including many underprivileged and disadvantaged children.
If you’re an energetic and empathetic leader looking for a fulfilling career in a beautiful and unique working environment, you could be our next Outdoor Educator. If so, you’re in the right place to build confidence, team-building, leadership and independence in others - and yourself.
