A bit about your role
As a Customer Field Technician, located in the
Taree/ Forster/ Nambucca
area on the
mid North Coast
, you will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll work in multiple environments, both internal and external, but predominantly inside the customer's premises.
Your typical day could include any or all of the following in order to deliver exceptional customer service:
Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
These roles operate between 7am and 7pm based on business needs; a flexible working environment is encouraged
A bit about you
We're seeking both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background who are keen to explore a career in the telco sector.
A large part of this role is working in customers' premises, so strong customer service skills and the ability to demonstrate honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated are important.
We are looking for a current and clean Driver's License and strong, personable communication skills (written and verbal).
