VCE Physical Education & Health Teacher
We are seeking an experienced Physical Education and Health specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons in VCE Physical Education and Health and Human Development to students in Years 7-10.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching programs that cater to diverse learning styles;
* Utilize technology to enhance the learning experience, particularly with Canvas;
* Demonstrate expertise in creating online learning environments that promote student engagement;
* Commit to ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in education;
* Maintain a child-safe environment that aligns with child-safe standards;
* Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training, adhering to our school's policies and procedures;
* Conduct themselves in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
* Raise concerns about child safety issues in line with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures;
* Foster an inclusive environment where students' voices are heard and valued;
* Promote the school's vision and values through their actions and behavior;
* Teach senior year levels and develop online VCE courses for delivery;
* Monitor attendance and record student progress effectively;
* Implement student management strategies aligned with our strategic plan;
* Attend and contribute to staff meetings as required;
* Engage actively in regular staff devotions and prayer.
