Project Manager - Southern Great Barrier Reef Infrastructure
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to lead our team in the delivery of diverse infrastructure projects across the Southern Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
The role involves overseeing the planning and management of various infrastructure projects, including campgrounds, walking tracks, lookouts, signage, staging areas, and barracks. This requires hands-on work both on land and at sea.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise work teams to deliver projects and contribute to annual planning, resource allocation, and budget management for infrastructure and recreational maintenance.
* Plan and execute projects involving park infrastructure, natural and cultural resource management, fire, weed, and pest control, while operating and maintaining equipment.
* Handle compliance, enforcement, customer service, and stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with Indigenous communities and government agencies.
* Coordinate emergency response procedures and maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative tasks, including procurement and HR support.
Key Requirements: An automatic/unrestricted manual driver's license. A Coxswain NSCV1 license is highly desirable but not mandatory.
