About Us:
Chatsworth State School's enrolments numbers are growing school, with approximately 250 students from Prep to Year 6. Chatsworth State School maintains a family feel and treats all students as individuals and provide a broad and balanced education with many extra-curricular opportunities. The opportunities for students include sporting, musical, artistic, leadership, learning support, social and emotional supports, academic extension and pastoral care.
Chatsworth State School is the base school for the Chatsworth Special education program, co-ordinating support for students with disabilities at six other local schools. The school is also part of the Gympie Alliance of State Schools and accesses this community for sporting carnivals, inter-school sport, professional development and support, educational specialist teacher support, guidance and behaviour officers.
About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Lead and unite the school community around a clearly articulated, future-focused educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
Model ethical and values-based leadership by upholding the moral purpose of principalship and embedding socially just practices in everyday school life.
Drive high performance and continuous improvement by setting and maintaining high standards for students and staff while actively engaging in lifelong learning and professional development.
Build strong partnerships with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance opportunities and outcomes for students.
Ensure effective governance and resource management through a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies, and by strategically managing resources to achieve school goals.
