What you willdo as the General Manager, Competition Enforcementand Advocacy or General Manager, MergerAssessment
Whatwill you do:
* represent the ACCC,manage strategic engagement activities with key industry,stakeholder and consumer organisations, including leadingdiscussion and providing strategic and expert advice indecision making forums.

* Arelevant tertiary qualification combined with at least 8-10years post-qualifications experience in law, economics, publicpolicy or related fields.
Successful applicantswill undertake pre-employment screening checks, including acriminal history check, and will be subject to a six-monthprobation period if new to the Australian Public Service. You willalso be required to obtain and maintain either a Baseline or aNegative Vetting Level 1 (Secret) level security clearance(depending on the role).
