Machine Learning Scientist
We're looking for a talented Machine Learning Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and experience with developing novel algorithms and modeling techniques.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work on advancing the state of the art in spoken language understanding, leveraging Amazon's heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for business applications
- Collaborate with peers to develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques
- Work with large-scale distributed systems and big data tools
Requirements:
- PhD or Master's degree with 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience or 6+ years of applied research experience
- Strong programming skills in Java, C++, Python or related languages
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Familiarity with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
