Butler Partners and its sister company Ground Testing Services, are a privately owned leaders in geotechnical, environmental and groundwater engineering consultancy, providing services to private developments, government agencies and the resource / infrastructure sections in Queensland and northern New South Wales for over 25-years.
With foreseeable growth in our industry, we are looking for fit and enthusiastic people to works as offsiders to our geotechnical drillers.
About the role
* Assisting driller with daily operations
* Handling of drill rods, drilling muds and tools
* Ensuring safe and clean worksite
* Maintaining of vehicles and equipment
* Mobilising trucks and heavy equipment between drill site locations
The position is based out of Brisbane and is not a fly in / fly out role, though you will be expected to work away from Brisbane on occasion and sometimes on short notice.
Skills
It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have had some experience as a driller’s offsider. You should be a ‘self-starter’ and will already have obtained a HR drivers license and a white card. People with no experience are still encouraged to apply as new starters with the right attitude, can be more favourable.

* MR license

* General mechanical knowledge
* HR license
* Basic or Senior First Aid
* Construction Industry Induction “White” card
