What you'll be doing:
Walking into your centre everyday you'll smile, as the early morning sun shines across our vegetable gardens and nature escape. You'll then ask yourself the BIG question; 'How can we provide a service that enriches our community, and allows children, families and educators to grow in body, mind and spirit?' To answer this, you'll collaborate with your team of skilled educators, chair staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, facilitate staff training sessions, uphold YMCA policies, procedures and design/implement a high-quality learning curriculum. You'll be great in this role if you...
* Have an ACECQA approved degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
* Can obtain First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
* Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
* Have experience as a Director / Centre Manager or Assistant Director (or similar) in an early childhood setting
* Are known for providing visionary leadership to maintain a high quality, inclusive and safe learning environment
* Have inspired and led a team of educators and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
* Retain knowledge in child development / high quality programming practices.
* Have an understanding of financial and administrative functions
* Can obtain a National Police Certificate and WA Working with Children card
