Key Responsibilities
* Lead early intervention and workers compensation processes to ensure timely and effective support for injured workers.
* Empower managers and supervisors to take ownership of injury reporting and management, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
* Drive workplace health and safety improvements through strategic planning and compliance with legislation.
* Collaborate with external research agencies to develop innovative well-being initiatives that benefit both employees and the organization as a whole.
* Analyze injury reports to identify trends and inform data-driven decisions that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest changes in workers compensation and WHS laws to ensure the organization remains compliant and ahead of the curve.
* Develop and implement well-being and injury management strategies that align with organizational goals and values.
* Manage pre-employment medicals, workplace assessments, and other related tasks to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
What You Need:
* Degree in exercise physiology or occupational therapy
* Strong understanding of workers compensation and WHS laws
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to analyze data and inform strategic decisions
* Experience in injury management and prevention
