Elevate your career with a leading provider of construction hoists and equipment solutions. As a Lead Hoist Mechanic, you'll oversee hoist maintenance, ensuring motors and systems operate at peak performance while also supporting rigging and installation.
About the Role
* Carry out and monitor hoist motor performance, completing maintenance tasks to keep equipment running at its best.
* Stay on top of scheduled servicing to make sure all maintenance is completed on time and to standard.
* Lead and guide Hoist Mechanics and Trade Assistants, with a focus on building capability and delivering quality results.
* Assist the hoist rigging team on installations and dismantles as required, with training provided.
Key Requirements
* Trade-qualified electrician or electrical fitter/mechanic (or equivalent).
* Holding a High-Risk Work Licence – Class HP for personnel and materials hoists is ideal but not essential.
* Previous experience servicing or operating cranes and hoists is highly desirable, or a mechanical/engineering trades background.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and resilience are essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
* Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
