Role Purpose: Partner with the Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and transactional accounting across the Group's multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate books and records for up to 8 entities across 3 countries and currencies in the accounting system
· Process accounts payable end-to-end: supplier onboarding, invoice coding, approval workflows, and payment runs across multiple bank accounts
· Manage accounts receivable: raise customer invoices, monitor aged debtors, follow up on collections, and apply receipts
· Daily bank reconciliations across all entities and bank accounts, including foreign currency accounts
· Administer corporate credit card program: issuing, cancelling, monthly reconciliations, coding transactions, and chasing receipts/approvals
· Manage staff expense reimbursement process
· Purchase Order issuance, matching to invoices and receipts, and supplier statement reconciliations
· Maintain the fixed asset register and process additions, disposals, and depreciation runs
· Assist with month-end close: accruals, prepayments, and standard journal entries
· Support external auditors and tax advisors with information requests
· Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities in transactional workflows
Skills & Experience:
· 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment
· Some exposure to multi-entity bookkeeping operations is preferred
· Strong proficiency in Xero and/or QuickBooks
· Proficiency in either Xero or QuickBooks is required
· Comfort with high transaction volumes and competing deadlines
· Experience with expense management platforms (e.g. Dext, Lightyear, Airwallex, Weel) is advantageous
· Minimum Year 12/High School qualification required
· Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship
