Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. We are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our dedicated team and become an important part of patient care at the Nepean Cancer Care Centre.
The Administration Officer is the welcoming face and provides support behind the scenes through efficient, compassionate service to patients and clients while ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations. You will work closely with clinical teams, helping to create a positive, organised, and patient-focused environment where care comes first.

What you will bring to the role

* Extensive administrative experience, including reception duties and well developed skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Demonstrated excellent customer service skills when dealing with people with complex health needs
* Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
* Capacity to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
* Experience in record maintenance and filing
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and time manage daily tasks
