We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Domestic Kitchen / Servery Assistants to join our Relief Pool at McNamara Lodge in Meadow Springs, Mandurah.
We are particularly looking for team members who are available 3–4 days per week, primarily across the following shifts:
AM Shift: 7:00am –1:45pmPM Shift: 4:00pm – 7:30pm
Help provide a warm, welcoming environment for staff and residents alike as a Kitchen/Cleaning/Laundry Attendant at our McNamara Lodge facility in Meadow Springs, Mandurah. As a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant with RAAFA, you will work closely and collaboratively with other teams and clinical staff to ensure the needs and desires of the residents are met efficiently and effectively. Whether it's maintaining a clean and tidy state within the Residential Care Centre, providing clean linen and personal items or assisting with the provision of meals, drinks and snacks, you will contribute to the maintenance of a home-like environment for our residents.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will work closely with hospitality, domestic and clinical teams to help create a comfortable, home-like environment for residents.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with meal service, including serving meals, drinks and snacks to residents
* Supporting residents with menu choices where required
* Performing food handling duties in accordance with FoodSafe hygiene regulations
* Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, servery and dining areas
* Completing cleaning duties throughout the Residential Care Centre as per cleaning schedules
* Collecting, laundering, folding and returning resident linen and personal laundry
* Ensuring laundry areas remain clean, organised and equipment is used safely
* Reporting hazards, incidents or safety concerns
* Contributing to maintaining a safe, respectful and home-like environment for residents
About you:

You will ideally have:
* Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, laundry, or agedcare environments
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring and respectful approach when interacting with elderly residents
* Good organisational and time management skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn across multiple domestic areas

What you need to do:

* Eligibility to work in Australia
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain)
