You’ll have the opportunity to enhance and refine your communication, analytical, and leadership skills while guiding clinicians and managers in the effective use of the IMS+ system to manage and report clinical incidents. You will play a key role supporting quality-driven change across the hospital and Local Health District. **What You'll be Doing**
To assist in the coordination of the patient safety activities such as monitoring, reporting and investigating patient safety incidences at Camden & Campbelltown Hospital.
- To provide support and assistance to staff with the reporting and investigation of patient safety issues and assist/advise in the implementation of recommendations.
- To be a patient safety resource for Camden & Campbelltown Hospital, providing information and advice on patient safety issues.
- Monitoring the progress and implementation of recommendations from SAER and Harm Score 2incidents.
- Participating in the planning and implementation of an ongoing program of education in various aspects of patient safety management to assist in developing Camden & Campbelltown Hospital staff members' attitudes, skills and knowledge required to adequately manage patient safety issues.

**How to Apply**
- Current authority to practice with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or such other qualifications and/or senior health qualified experience deemed appropriate by the Local Health District.
- Experience in leading or implementing patient safety and quality systems in line with MoH Incident Management Policy including ims+ incident management system, and Serious Adverse Event Reports (SAER) and other investigations.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated computer competence with skills in Information Management and knowledge of facility quality and safety systems.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
