Role Overview
As our Technical Sales Specialist, you will focus on helping partners acquire and develop Modern Work and security customers within the partner and channel ecosystem. You will also drive upsell opportunities and guide existing customers to higher-tier Microsoft licenses through the partner channel.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with resellers to expand their marketing and sales capabilities, promoting adoption of Modern Work and Copilot for Microsoft 365, while upselling to premium products.
* Utilize Microsoft targeting tools like Cloud Ascent and programs such as Co-op, CSP Workshops, and Solution Assessments to generate new customer conversations and identify on-premises to Cloud migration opportunities.
* Implement a Rhythm of Business with resellers and Microsoft Stakeholders to monitor progress, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.
* Drive partner engagement, promote campaigns, cross-sell Crayon services, and highlight the Microsoft and Indirect Provider partnership.
* Require 3 years of experience in sales, presales, marketing, or consulting within the IT industry.
* Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, with MS900 and MS700 certifications to be completed within 2 months of onboarding.
* Possess a strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Copilot, the Microsoft partner ecosystem, and the value of generative AI in Microsoft 365.
* Experience working at a technology vendor, focusing on selling or managing Microsoft products/solutions, is preferred.
