The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) seeks to establish a pool of suitable applicants to fill temporary, permanent, full-time, part-time, or casual appointments as they arise.
This pool will remain valid until exhausted, or a decision is made to close the pool. Applications are being reviewed on a regular basis and applicants who are deemed suitable will be placed into this pool from which appointments will be made.
This process may also be used to fill other similar at level vacancies as they arise.
Being appointed to the pool does not guarantee you a placement in a position.

About the Role
The role requires the application of vocational training expertise to develop, improve and quality review training products.
You will use your creativity and instructional design experience to produce innovative training products that meet the needs of the staff and volunteers of DFES.
The development of training products is conducted in accordance with DFES training design and development quality principles and, where appropriate, aligned to the Public Safety (PUA) Training Package as well as ensuring compliance with state and national vocational training regulatory requirements.

This position will be based at the DFES Academy in Forrestfield and some local and regional travel may be required.
DFES is an emergency services organisation and all employees may be required to work or travel outside of normal business hours to assist with emergencies.
