Career Medical Officer (CMO), Emergency Department

Fixed term temporary for 12 months – Full time and part time opportunities.
Essential Requirements
* Full General Registration with AHPRA
* At least three (3) years post graduate experience in an Emergency Department
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Appropriate training and experience to work towards a leadership role, including leading night shifts and supervising junior staff
* Ability to provide guidance to junior medical and nursing staff across all elements of the Emergency Department
Key Responsibilities
* Provide patient care under the direction of supervising consultants.
* Improve clinical care processes, service coordination, patient handover, and discharge planning.
* Coordinate patient care by facilitating communication between specialties, administrative, and community services.
* Contribute to team building, mentoring, and training within the multidisciplinary team.
* Provide clinical advice and encourage effective communication for coordinated patient care.
