Family Law Litigation Solicitor - 4 yrs plus PAE Part-Time Position (Hybrid)
Four Year Plus SOLICITOR in a boutique legal practice in Bacchus Marsh, specializing in the area of Family Law Litigation for secure permanent part-time position of 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with great mentoring.
Ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* Have a passion in the area of law, taking a hands-on approach in client/file management and enjoy doing your own court appearances, having first hand satisfaction of obtaining results needed and wanted by clients;
* Must be already be admitted not only in the Supreme Court of Victoria but also in High Court, and have a current practicing certificate;
* Must have at least 4 years experience as a Solicitor, in particular, have experience with client appointments, running matter files from start to end (legal aid and private matters including property and children) and attending own court appearances online and in person, except briefing for all final hearings;
* Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to follow established office administration / procedures and Works well as individual and in small team;
* Must have experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook - emails, calendar, tasks, and Excel), Leap Legal Software and Ricoh Printer;
* Great mentoring and assistance / guidance in complex cases;
* Preference will be given to person already accepted as solicitor under 29A Panel of Victoria Legal Aid Family Law; and
* Remuneration negotiable and dependent on experience.
