Tell me more...An exciting opportunity exists for Registered Nurses to become involved in the TCHHS Remote Registered Nurse – Practice Pathway.
The Remote Registered Nurse – Practice Pathway provides the opportunity for suitable Registered Nurses interested in gaining supported remote Primary Health Care (PHC) experience and complete a 12-month rotational placement with the career aspiration to work in the remote health context as a Clinical Nurse within a TCHHS remote PHHC facility.
During your rotation you will be working alongside experienced remote area nurses who will guide and support your practice. You will also have regular contact with the TCHHS Nursing Education team educators. You will be expected to complete the Remote Registered Nurse – Practice Pathway professional portfolio during your rotation as part of your formal learning.
The purpose of the position is to provide nurses with a supported opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills require to work within the remote practice context, whilst receiving additional educational opportunities to assist with the transition from generalist nursing to the remote work environment.
