Position
National Business Manager – Independents, Convenience, Costco & Alternate Channels
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Superannuation + Reimbursement of Expenses
Responsibilities
Position Summary: Reporting to the Head of Sales, the NBM plays a pivotal role in accelerating growth across Metcash, Independents, P&C (Petrol & Convenience), Costco, and alternative channels such as vending, distributors, export, foodservice and wholesale. This role is accountable for executing a multi-channel sales strategy that expands Healthier Tastier Foods' market presence, drives sustainable revenue, and builds long-term commercial partnerships.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven experience in a similar role or ready to step up, preferably within the FMCG Food and beverage and or health and wellness industry managing Independents, Costco, Wholesale, Foodservice, Export and or alternative channels.
Skills
* Proven track record of growing sales within existing and new channels.
* Relationship building with existing and new customers.
* Account management principles understood.
* Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Leadership skills: Help lead, support and develop other team members.
* Stakeholder management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple categories and or retailers.
* Strategic thinking to identify sales growth opportunities.
* Financial acumen and ability to manage account sales and profitability through budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
* Tools: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets and Google Slides.
* Product development understanding of bringing new products to market.
