About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Purchasing Officer to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will help drive operational productivity by securing competitive pricing and ensuring the timely delivery of essential products, services and raw materials.
You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support production targets and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Direct purchasing and expediting of products, services and raw materialsMaintain a high standard of supplier and internal customer serviceEnsure accurate purchasing data is provided to the accounting teamRespond to enquiries from project managers, engineers, supervisors and leading handsSupport procurement initiatives and participate in procurement projectsWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders to meet production requirementsMonitor supplier performance to ensure delivery timelines and quality expectations are met
About You
Your strong customer service mindset and ability to add value to the business will be complemented by:
Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environmentCompetency with Microsoft Office applications, as well as ERP/MRP systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skillsPrevious experience in a stores or logistics role will be highly regarded
