The Network are seeking an AGSVA NV2 cleared Network Technical Officer working inside a Federal Government environment.ASAP to 30/06/2027
Open to ACTAs a Network Technical Officer you will provide specialist support to mission-critical IT systems in highly secure, deployed environments. You will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, support the design and deployment of network solutions, and ensure systems remain operational under challenging conditions, including limited connectivity. You will maintain and patch systems, manage digital certificates, and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity. You will also contribute to documentation, SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.Who are we looking for:Must have:
o Experience as a Network/Gateway Engineer.
o Demonstrated experience supporting Defence deployed systems.Have specialist ICT skills and knowledge in the following:
o Networking technologies including Routing, Switching, IPSec, VPN, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS TE.
o Next Generation Firewalls, VoIP, Enterprise Wireless LAN, Network Segmentation and Access Control.
o Network telemetry protocols such as NetFlow and SNMP.
o Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Skype and Citrix VDI.
o Hypervisor administration and virtualised environments.Desirable:
o Experience with SEA2273 Minerva systems.
o Experience supporting complex IT systems on Navy ship platforms.
