About the Role
JBS Beef City is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the site HR Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the effective and successful delivery of HR operations across the plant.
This is a full time day shift position, working Monday to Friday. From time to time, you may be required to provide coverage across different shifts at short notice.
Responsibilities
* Perform daily HR administration, including data entry and preparation of reports.
* Support HR activities across the plant, including employee engagement, retention, and recruitment initiatives.
* Liaise daily with Training, Rehabilitation, WHS and Payroll teams on a range of HR related matters.
* Support leaders in coaching and mentoring team members, including preparing written documentation and managing disciplinary processes.
* Manage internal HR systems, including the KRONOS Time and Attendance system.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and manuals, as well as relevant legislation and government regulations.
* Conduct disciplinary investigations.
* Complete general administrative duties such as filing, answering phones and coordinating interviews and medical appointments.
* Undertake additional duties as required or directed.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated computer literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with various departments.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to effectively learn new tasks quickly and efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking.
* Robust communication skills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills.
* Must have AU working rights.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
