- **Be uniquely you, come as you are**:

- **Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley**

As the **Laboratory Manager**, you will rally and inspire the laboratory team to provide a high level of service which ensures a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and ensuring quality is embedded in the processes, activities and outputs of the laboratory.

Development of team members by identifying coaching, mentoring and training opportunities is a key function of this role.

You will assist in organising and monitoring workflow, and throughput of the laboratory, to ensure outcomes are provided in a timely manner. You will also assist in the standardisation of processes and procedures within and across group laboratories, and other departments, while also reviewing processes for continuous improvement.

Sound good? Read on.

Here's a taster of what you can expect in the role:

- Utilising the business change management processes as required and monitoring outcomes for effectiveness.
- Ensuring contractors are engaged and managed as per company processes.

**Now let's talk about you**:
It is preferred that you will be tertiary qualified in Science (focus on chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry/biotechnology, microbiology, or similar) and that you will have demonstrable experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment. This experience will be supported with recognised qualifications in management and leadership.

You are most energised when you can rally and inspire others around you on a common goal, while providing support to allow for individual growth and improvement, allowing others to feel positive about themselves and their achievements. You are quick to identify obstacles and roadblocks and know how to work with others to find workable solutions which maintain relationships. You have demonstrable competency in successfully implementing change and are willing to disrupt established processes and "groupthink" in the process of implementing change.

You will also:
