Safety and Risk Manager Opportunity
This role is focused on leading the development and implementation of health and safety plans in a regional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety plans
* Conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, task observations, and safety investigations to identify potential hazards and opportunities for improvement
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all projects as per requirements, including management of relevant legislation and regulatory compliance
* Provide guidance and support to team members on health and safety policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Department of Transport & Main Roads policy, process, and procedure, as well as excellent time management and task prioritisation skills. Preference will be given to candidates with local knowledge within an hour's drive of Beaudesert.
Essential Skills:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in road infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of OH&S legislation and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
