About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Officer to join our Maritime Sustainment team based at Osborne, reporting to the Procurement & Subcontracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage the performance of suppliers to achieve the requirements of the contract from a schedule, cost and quality perspective, developing and embedding the relevant KPIs
Support end to end procurement activities in a fast-paced sustainment environment
Aid the procurement elements of bids and tenders ensuring robust definition of requirements and commercial terms
Support the development of robust supplier sourcing strategies for the business
Lead supplier negotiations and finalise Supplier Agreements and purchase orders in accordance with set procedures and Delegations Of Authority
About You
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
Defence industry experience would be highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain.
Familiarity and experience in the development and negotiation of contracts with key suppliers.
