Overview: As a Registered Midwife, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary maternity team, dedicated to delivering care that focuses on individual needs and aspirations to achieve optimal birthing outcomes. Our Midwifery Group Practice model is standard at all three of our birthing sites, ensuring you have the support and resources you need to thrive.
About the Role: In this casual role, you will provide midwifery services in both health service and community settings, working within the Murraylands and Riverland Midwifery teams. You'll have the opportunity to develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient professional, enhancing your skills through continuous professional development and hands-on experience. You will be accountable for your standards of care and for activities delegated to others, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
* Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Holding or eligibility for a current practising certificate.
* A strong commitment to woman-centred care and optimal birthing outcomes.
* Willingness to work flexibly within a casual roster to meet the needs of the service.
