About the Role
We're looking for a practical and proactive Assistant Maintenance Officer to ensure our care community remains a safe, functional, and beautiful home for our residents.

What You'll Do
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and minor projects across our care community and gardens.
* Ensure our home meets all safety and compliance standards, including WHS regulations.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests, minimising disruption for our residents.
* Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget.
* Work as a key part of our team to create a safe and welcoming environment.
What You'll Need
* Experience in a maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping role (aged care experience a plus).
* A practical, can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to safety.
* Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
* Reliability and a strong work ethic.
* A trade qualification or 'Test and Tag' certification is highly regarded.
* Willingness to complete:
o Pre-employment medical
