5+ years working in an operational role supporting complex ICT systems and services.
Valuable understanding of Network Management Systems and related operational monitoring approaches.
Experience mentoring and influencing team members and providing thought leadership within an engineering team.
Experience working with incident management in an ICT context.
Working knowledge of software engineering in an Infrastructure as Code context including version control, automation, IaaS, CI/CD and configuration management.
Exposure to DevOps tooling such as GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible and Terraform.
Awareness of Agile, Scrum and Kanban concepts.
Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.
5+ years of combined experience in application management, development, and DevSecOps.
Exposure to VMware and ESXi.
Experience working in Linux, Windows and Kubernetes environments.
Proven ability to work independently, and within a multi-discipline team.
Demonstrable experience proving a customer focus and passion for delivery.
Excellent communications and client facing skills.
Positive knowledge of cloud-based providers, preferably AWS.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
