Industrial Blaster and Painter
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster and Painter to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our marine project team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through mechanical means and applying coatings using various techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical surface preparation via abrasive blasting and water blasting methods
* Application of protective coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques
* Surface inspection to ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
* Collaborative teamwork and maintaining safety awareness on site
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in industrial painting and blasting
* A valid White Card (Construction Induction)
* Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications (desired)
* A Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (desired)
* Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain National Police Clearance
