About the Position:
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join operations in Kalgoorlie, working on active mine site projects. This role involves carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding activities while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards. The position offers stable hours and the opportunity to work within a well-established site team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Carrying out electrical maintenance and installation works on mine site
* Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment and infrastructure
* Issuing and managing isolation permits and authorities to work
* Ensuring compliance with site safety systems and procedures
* Completing pre-starts, risk assessments and take 5s
* Maintaining accurate maintenance and work records
* Liaising with supervisors and other trades to coordinate works
* Adhering to all electrical and mining regulations and standards
Skills & Experience Required:
* Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
* Valid Electrical Licence
* Minimum 6 months mine site experience (essential)
* Demonstrated experience issuing isolation permits and permits to work
* Strong understanding of mine site safety systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety
