Operations is the beating heart of Amazon, ensuring we fulfill and dispatch orders efficiently so that our customers get their items on time. This role is driven by Operations Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality, and productivity across our sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
- Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance
- Analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
- Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
- Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance
A day in the life involves leading shifts at one of our operational sites, being the key link between various teams, and contributing to new ways to innovate at your site. This includes meetings with different areas of the business, deep diving into performance and risk metrics, and mentoring and coaching your team.
Basic Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a adaptable schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, with a base pay ranging from $81,900/year to $150,100/year, depending on the location and other factors.
