Job Title: Business Growth Strategist
Diageo is seeking an experienced professional to develop and execute a profitable growth strategy to expand its brands in the highly competitive Spirits Category. This key role will lead the development and negotiation of category strategies with key customer groups to drive business growth and achieve full year financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and negotiation of category strategies with key customer groups to drive business growth and achieve full year financial objectives.
* Ensure the achievement of full year financial objectives by monitoring key deliverables and addressing shortfalls.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure goals and objectives are met within the customer group.
* Drive cross-functional and commercial peer engagement to promote consistency and collaboration across the business.
* Develop and implement promotional programs to drive business growth and increase market share.
Requirements:
* Established experience in promotions, account management or key account management within an FMCG or Liquor environment.
* Well-developed analytical capability with the ability to drive data into practical insights.
* Ability to manage a P&L and a customer P&L.
* Experience in negotiating with customers and understanding their needs versus the needs of Diageo.
* Experience in setting direction and managing deliverables through team members while maintaining high standards of performance expectations.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
