Location: St Lucia. Type: Full-time, fixed term position for 12 months. Base salary: in the range $115,645 - $129,654 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8).
About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Change and Communications Manager to lead the change management efforts for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) project — a critical initiative to strengthen the University's security posture. Working in a highly collaborative environment with IT, Security, and Business teams, this role will drive user adoption and ensure a smooth transition to new IAM systems and processes while minimising disruption across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to the IAM project
Lead stakeholder engagement and communication activities to build awareness and support for change
Design and deliver training programs and resources to enable successful adoption of new systems
Identify risks, manage resistance, and embed sustainable change into business operations
About You
You will be a proactive and collaborative change professional with the expertise to lead complex IT transformation initiatives and the interpersonal skills to influence and support stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Key Capabilities
Proven success in delivering change within large IT programs, ideally including Identity and Access capability uplift
Experience in delivering change and communications in a university or higher education context is highly regarded
Strong experience in consulting, partnering with and coaching senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
Expertise in planning and delivering clear, targeted communications to diverse audiences through multiple channels
A results-driven, resilient, and positive approach, with the ability to work independently and in teams
Postgraduate qualifications in organisational change, project management, business or related field, or equivalent experience/training
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the capacity to quickly learn new applications and tools
