This role is within KBR's Government Solutions U.S. division.
You are an expert in electrical systems documentation, configurations, and updates with experience in maintaining and managing technical data packages.
In the role of Electrical Systems Document Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Developing, reviewing, and maintaining project requirements documentation.
* Conducting technical studies to refine project requirements.
* Monitoring projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
* Providing coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensuring all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
* Supporting engineers in the design, development, modification, and improvement of products/processes.
* Activities include but are not limited to: Identifying and recommending improvements/preventive actions, inspecting, testing, maintaining, researching, repairing, and installing equipment and systems.
* Testing new and modified products, processes, and/or systems.
* May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
* Anticipating internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory/compliance issues; recommending process, product or service improvements.
* Solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact.
* Contributing to the development of job family or strategy.
* Mentoring and advising project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
* Regarded as the technical expert in their particular discipline.
* Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the job family.
