About The Role
Our Risk & Ethics team is seeking a Risk & Ethics - Senior Consultant (Independence Office - Assurance) to join our community of problem solvers. The team helps ensure the firm's independence from audit and assurance clients by managing regulatory and professional requirements.
You will:
* Consult on independence regulation and policy matters impacting the Assurance practice.
* Provide advice on various independence issues.
* Engage in projects to create, update, and improve guidance materials and advise on new systems and technologies related to risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist client-facing engagement teams, mainly in Assurance, with interpreting and applying independence rules.
* Conduct data reviews, communicate findings, and support continuous improvement.
* Manage workflow, report to managers, and ensure prompt response to queries.
* Participate in training to deepen independence knowledge.
* Support other areas of the Independence team as needed.
About You
* Experience in a professional environment with Audit or Compliance background; audit experience preferred but not essential.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to apply complex legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements practically.
* Commercial awareness, client service focus, and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving mindset, integrity, and a caring attitude.
