We are currently seeking an engaging and motivated Head of Finance to lead and drive financial operations for the organisation whilst directly managing a small Finance and Technology team. This full-time role is offered on a hybrid basis, working from a home office and from our Head Office in Geelong.

Your New Role
The Head of Finance takes responsibility for the full range of finance activities across the organisation, including financial operations, reporting, procurement, contract management, facilities and fleet management and NDIS claiming processes. This key role forms part of the Leisure Networks Leadership Team and is integral in driving high-performing operations and financial sustainability, whilst also leading a team of direct reports specialising in Finance and Technology.
This role requires the highest level of integrity and attention to detail, proactively supporting operations to achieve the organisation's goals. The successful candidate will be a visible, energetic leader and collaborator, comfortable building relationships across the organisation and leading others through change and adaptation, who continually seeks opportunities to improve and enhance operational capability.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Qualifications and professional registration as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant
* Sound knowledge of financial and audit reporting and compliance standards
* Knowledge and experience managing digital platforms and information technology
* Strong demonstrated understanding of corporate governance, risk management principles and operational frameworks, as they apply to a nonprofit organisation
* Sound understanding of change management practices, alongside demonstrated experience supporting and leading teams through change and adaptation
* Extensive experience in providing strategic advice and leadership, financial forecasting, financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic decision making
* Knowledge and experience in relation to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or aligned sector (advantageous)
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, alongside strong emotional intelligence
* The demonstrated ability to lead, engage and inspire teams from a strengths-based perspective
* Highly developed strategic and analytical skills and experience delivering process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to deliver outcomes within strict timeframes
* The demonstrated ability to work within and adapt to changing and potentially ambiguous environments
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* A current Working With Children Check Employee card (or willingness to obtain)
* Evidence of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination
