We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to join Mercedes-Benz North Shore in Artarmon.
About the role
* Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians
* Oversee technician productivity and efficiency
* Prioritise repair orders for timely completion
* Assist with technical problem‐solving
* Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification
* Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed
* Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks
* Maintain a safe work setting
* Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives
* Control workshop activity to maximise profitability
What we are looking for
* Relevant work experience and trade qualifications
* Previous Workshop Controller experience preferred but not essential
* Current driver's licence
* Excellent time management skills and is punctual and reliable
* Ability to lead the team
* MVTC essential
* Air‐Conditioning Licence preferred but not essential
* ASCIS & AUVIS Licence preferred but not essential
* Demonstrates care and attention to detail
* Valuable communication skills
