Job Description:
Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills in our Anaesthetics & Recovery Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer anaesthetics and provide post-operative care to patients in the recovery area
* Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
* Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or complications
* Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during the recovery process
Requirements:
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Anaesthetic and/or Recovery (PACU)
* Postgraduate studies in Anaesthetics or equivalent
* Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
