Large, relaxed Irish family seeking an energetic and organised mother's helper who can support with young children (including infant twins) and home. Open to considering experienced applicants who are on a Working Holiday Visa and living locally Schedule can be flexible for someone seeking less days/hours.
Pay rate: $37-40 per hour + Super (negotiable, depending on experience)
Days: Mondays-Fridays
Hours: 7am - 2pm
Children: 6 month old twins, 2 year old, and 4 year old
Start date: As soon as possible.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years of experience with babies and young children
* Experience in home management
* Blue Card, First Aid, and CPR
* 2 outstanding references we can call.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This large and loving family is seeking an extra pair of hands from a capable nanny/home manager who can work alongside mum to ensure the children are thriving and the household runs smoothly. Your responsibilities and routine will be worked out with the family based on their needs and your strengths. It is essential that you're equally as comfortable doing family laundry as you are bathing young babies.
At times you will be caring for two or more of the children so you must be able to ensure safety and enjoy engaging playfully across the early ages. There will be times when you will not be responsible for the children (the 4 year old and 2 year old will be in Kindy/daycare some days), and the family would like support with tasks such as meal preparation/cooking, laundry management, and helping to maintain a tidy and organised home.
The right person for this position will be energetic and organised, confident to step in and provide flexible, diligent support over the next 6 months or longer.
