Machine Operator - CNC Machinist
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintaining precise measurements using Micrometers, Calipers, and Depth Gauges.
* Effective utilization and understanding of various angle and radius gauges for optimal results.
* Successful completion of forklift and overhead crane training programs.
* Providing assistance in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and identifying potential errors on the prints.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* A minimum of two years of experience in setting up and operating manual Mill and Lathe machinery.
* Proven experience in sweeping mill heads and vices.
* Ability to compensate for runout on lathes.
* Setting up jobs with or without documentation provided.
* Thorough understanding of feeds and speeds.
* Understanding G/M codes for programming purposes.
* Experience in broaching is a plus.
* Proficiency in operating Fanuc Control, Haas, or Hurco systems is advantageous.
* Programming skills are highly desirable.
