Overview
Australian Citizens with NV2 Clearance and previous defence experience preferred. This role will work within the SEA**** Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.
The Security Technician will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
Support the design, build, development and transition of cyber solutions aligned with best practice and relevant governance and security principles and frameworks.
Proactively maintain and upgrade cyber tools.
Work with SEA**** technical team members to ensure integration and operation of cyber tools with all ICT services in the Minerva stack.
Assist with development and build defect remediation of cyber toolsets on Minerva systems.
Author, review, maintain and contribute to Solution Designs, Standard Operating Procedures, As-Built-As-Configured and other required documentation artefacts.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting cyber toolsets in large scale and geographically dispersed environments.
Strong knowledge of the Fortinet suite of products.
Strong knowledge of Cyberark and Carbon Black products.
Strong knowledge of security principles including Zero Trust, enabling a tiered security model and defining security boundaries.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Experience working in Defence.
Knowledge and experience of the SEA**** Minerva system.
Knowledge of the security threat landscape and related security mitigations.
