Registered Nurse - Haemodialysis Up to 72 hours per fortnight
Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
The Haemodialysis Unit is a three bed unit catering to clients who need treatment for end stage renal failure. The Unit is a satellite unit for Barwon Health and currently operates 6 days per week, the staff within the unit operate autonomously.
What's required?
Essential:
* Current AHPRA Registered Nurse Registration.
* Current nursing experience in relevant clinical area.
* Minimum of 3 years post registration experience including management experience.
* Computer literacy particularly in Microsoft office software.
* Ability to organise work in a systematic way, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment.
* Professional, friendly and a team player disposition who is capable of representing the department and organisation effectively.
* Demonstrated skills in teamwork.
* Demonstrated ability to manage emergency situations.
* IV cannulation.
Desirable
* Current competency in defibrillation or ALS equivalent.
* Tertiary qualifications or working toward same
