Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cultural Heritage Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Exhibitions and Collections team, you will play a vital role in the care, conservation, and exhibition development of our collections at Canberra Museum and Gallery and the ACT Historic Places.
This is a full-time position located at Canberra Museum and Gallery, with regular work required at our historic sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
* Care for and conserve cultural materials, including installation, maintenance, and movement
* Develop and implement exhibitions that showcase our collections and promote cultural heritage awareness
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to collection management and exhibitions

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience working in a museum or gallery environment, with a strong understanding of best practices and health and safety issues
* Skills in installation, construction, carpentry, audio visual, and computer literacy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
