The Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established Brisbane based organisation that has modernised its environment across Azure and Microsoft 365 and is now looking for a Systems Administrator to help run and improve it day to day. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, solving problems properly, and continuously improving how an environment operates. The Role Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you'll take responsibility for the organisation's Microsoft environment across Azure, M365, and endpoints. Ensuring systems are secure, stable, and well managed. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) Manage Entra ID (Azure AD), including users, groups, and access controls Maintain and support Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, backups) Own Intune / Endpoint Manager for device configuration and compliance Implement and maintain security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, Defender) Deliver projects across the tech stack (migrations, rollouts, improvements) Provide escalation support across L2-L3 issues where required What We're Looking For Experience as a Systems Administrator in a Microsoft environment Strong exposure to Azure and Microsoft 365 Solid understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity management Experience with Intune and modern endpoint management Experience with Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, backups, VPNs) Comfortable using PowerShell Ability to take ownership and improve systems, not just maintain them Why Join?
