We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and enhance SharePoint Online hubs and sites that support enterprise intranet and digital services. This role focuses on delivering secure, accessible, and user‐centred solutions that align with organisational style guides and corporate branding standards.
About the Role
As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high‐quality SharePoint Online solutions that improve information sharing and user experience across the organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, digital/ICT partners, and end users to understand requirements, review existing platforms, and develop integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop SharePoint Online hubs and sites accessible via intranet pages.
* Create SharePoint solutions that maximise usability, accessibility, and user experience.
* Review and enhance existing SharePoint sites to improve integration and consistency with new developments.
* Interpret large volumes of information, tools, and templates to design and structure sites in a logical, user‐friendly manner.
* Ensure all solutions align with organisational style guides and corporate branding standards.
* Apply best practices to improve accessibility and inclusive design across digital services.
* Implement and maintain appropriate security controls in collaboration with internal digital and ICT partners.
* Ensure compliance with information sharing policies and procedures.
* Support the development of other online content, including potential use of Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
* Develop and deliver user training, support manuals, and coaching to enable ongoing internal management of SharePoint Online sites and related tools.
* Communicate and consult effectively with stakeholders to gather, develop, test, and validate user requirements.
* Remain flexible and adaptable when working with new products, tools, and technologies.
About You
* Demonstrated experience designing and developing SharePoint Online solutions.
* Strong understanding of user experience (UX), accessibility, and information architecture.
* Experience working in large or complex enterprise environments (desirable).
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform (desirable).
* Excellent communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
* Adaptable, proactive, and solutions‐focused.
